Gather ‘round, my fellow sinners! 
          	
          	Apologies for the late drop—life decided to throw a few daggers my way. In exchange for your patience, I bring you a feast: eight chapters tonight.
          	
          	Think of it as my way of bribing you to linger a little longer on the dark side. But fair warning: you’ll find no happiness here. Only shadows. Only ruin. Misery does love company, after all.
          	
          	That said—this part has always been what I envisioned for Johan and North. It’s the heart of why this is a dark romance. I’ll admit, it was painful to write. More than once I considered softening it, changing the course—but I knew I had to honor the direction I set long before I even began writing.
          	
          	I hope you still find something to hold onto in these chapters. And if you make it to the end… congratulations. You’re a warrior.
