          Apologies for the late drop—life decided to throw a few daggers my way. In exchange for your patience, I bring you a feast: eight chapters tonight.
          
          Think of it as my way of bribing you to linger a little longer on the dark side. But fair warning: you’ll find no happiness here. Only shadows. Only ruin. Misery does love company, after all.
          
          That said—this part has always been what I envisioned for Johan and North. It’s the heart of why this is a dark romance. I’ll admit, it was painful to write. More than once I considered softening it, changing the course—but I knew I had to honor the direction I set long before I even began writing.

          Jokes aside? kind of, I wanted to check in especially after those first two chapters where Johan and North couldn’t keep their hands (or mouth) off each other.
          
          It’s intoxicating, isn’t it? But beneath the lust is something far more dangerous, something raw, consuming, and terrifyingly tender. Now that they’re officially together, I wanted you to feel how their hunger has evolved. This isn’t just obsession anymore. It’s dependency disguised as devotion. And for Johan, it’s never just about sex, it’s survival. It’s worship. It’s a slow, inevitable unraveling.
          
          I don’t expect this story to be easy. Or palatable. It might not even be meant to last. But it will burn while it’s here. And if you’re still with us—thank you.
