Hello fellow readers :) 
          	
          	Recently I have been getting some backlash for the similarities from another novel that are seen in my current ongoing book OMNL, I’m pretty sure everyone who has seen the comments understand what I’m talking about. 
          	
          	A few months ago I was just a girl who wanted to write about two athletes falling in love, and decided to partner up with one of my close friends who I knew was great at story development. She came up with a few ideas and I wrote them up, but recently I have noticed how many replies there were addressing this issue, so I messaged the author of the book that was apparently plagiarised by me. I offered to discontinuing the story if it would help the present situation, and though they have not replied, I am considering going through with this. 
          	
          	I have discussed with my writing partner, and she had confessed that a lot of her ideas and concepts were taken from the book. I consider this unacceptable as it made my writing seem of no worth and just pasted. It started as fun, but now that the comments have flooded the discussion section I feel like my novel is not in fact mine but someone else’s. 
          	
          	I do feel guilty that someone else’s work is being associated with this, so I hope you understand reader, and that I am truly sorry for this incident.

@itsjustmel_ i love your book and i've read so many books with this plot but that doesn't make your book any less of your work and your book is actually really good and witty so i don't think you should worry about this....in fact other plots like family/ siblings etc also mainly have same plots and story line going in different books but its how you write it and depict it makes it your work stand out so i really hope you continue this book. I'm sure there are so many people who loves your book just as much and would love to see the story rolling. :)

hey there! this is just a quick message so nothing gets out of control; and to anyone who has being reading OMNL, thank you so much your comments and votes are extremely motivating
          
          during my inactivity, some readers commented how my writing was similar to another novel online- yes I know, nothing to take too seriously but I just intend to clear the air- and as of now, I understand their point. 
          
          A friend of mine briefly explained the story to me, so I do relate with them in this aspect. though, the novels are similar, there are certain parts that are just completely unrelated. I simply write on this platform for fun and don’t mean to cause anyone misunderstanding. Thanks! :)
