@cohfdauntlesscake hmmm.... I'd have to say know your story. Even if you don't have intense detail, know where you want the story to go. Also, try to be as relatable as possible with your stories. Make the characters human and realistic, and keep the dialog realistic. Using colorful adjectives and fancy words is great when used tastefully, but don't go overboard. Other than that, don't let writing and updating your stories become a chore, because no one likes chores and it takes the fun out of everything; it'll translate into your writing.
