17-year-old Kist is on a school trip when she is taken by a mysterious and beautiful woman.

Bruised from head to toe, the bonelace mutation is agonising, but waking up is worse: Kist is now entangled in a sick game where every word she screams and every breath she takes is lethally addictive.

But she faces an even greater threat as she tries to control a side of her she has kept hidden in the dark, a side the world isn't ready for. Forgiving the worst part of herself might be what Kist needs right now to protect those who need her, before her internal monsters become as frightening as the imaginary ones.

Grounded in modern day northern England, COLOUR ME YELLOW is driven by identity, family and forgiveness, where dyslexia is a superpower and falling for the wrong person is more dangerous than forgetting to breathe.
