Tyler Rush is a Young Adult Science Fiction/Fantasy author from Kentucky. He attended Florida Institute of Technology to pursue his passion for the stars with a degree in astrobiology. He eventually transferred and graduated from the University of Kentucky in 2020 and is currently working on a degree in Computer Science from Western Governor's University.
At the age of 11, Tyler finished his first novel "The Volcano's Sapphire" as part of the "Diamonds of Disasters" series, and subsequently began working on additional installments.
In 2016, at the age of 16, as he was about to embark to college, Tyler got the idea of the "Calum in Ocalia" series, set in a part-dystopian, part-utopian planetary system, loosely based upon NASA's discovery of the TRAPPIST system, where several planets were discovered in what's known as the 'Goldilocks Zone' of a star - somewhere liquid water can exist. Several years of world-building led to no developments of an actual novel. It wasn't until 2023 when he finished the first draft of the first installment of the series and sought out to publish it on serial book platforms.
Outside of writing, Tyler works on producing pop music, learning Korean, and spending time with family/friends.
