So, I removed a book from all of my lists and from my library I have a list on my profile called sex pistols and it's all mature content in some form or fashion and with that specific list even if I didnt love it Ill still keep it in there so people know "hey this is a mature story that you might be into" but I got maybe not even 10 chapters in and I just removed it from everything. She had been raped multiple times and the author never once addressed that, that was actually happening in the book and from the book description and summary I assumed it would be a love story. The love interest mentioned in the book summary had been one of the people to rape her and immediately I knew how things were going to play out. He was going to do it again later on in the book, the author would then start to romanticize his actions towards the main character and he eventually would end up "saving her" because of a new found possessive claim he had on her, which would be written as a "loving" quality. And, I just couldn't finish it or have it near my profile. I don't want to glorify a book that romanticizes rape. My intentions aren't to offend, and I'm sure the writer is a decent person. Who knows her true intent of Trinity but I just can't do it
