Hands gently taking the mug when she handed it back, taking a sip as he listened. Nodding as he swallowed the liquid, “ Okay, I'll be here ” he said in response. As if it was reassurance to her that he wasn't going anywhere, not going to run off like he used to. Not anymore. “ I'm won't be uncomfortable ” he said softly as he watched her walk over to her bedroom. When she went in, he finished off the last bit of coffee that was in the mug. Sighing quietly as he stared into the empty mug before getting up, making his way over to the sink. Turning on the sink to warm to wash up the mug, zoning out slightly as he cleaned the mug. He wasn't really thinking of anything, just.. nothing. This kind of thing has been happening a few times recently, he would just zone out for a few seconds for a minute. Inhaling sharply as he came back to his senses and finished washing the mug and placed it on the drying rack. Flinching at the noise that came from the bedroom, drying his hands on a cloth. Placing it down quickly before he went over to see what it was. Eyes flicked to the box then her, quietly rushing over and crouching beside her. He placed his hand on her back and looked at her face, worry filled his. “ Are you okay? It didn't fall on you did it? ” he asked, worry was clear in his tone. Eyes shifted to what was in her hand, his eyebrows furrowed slightly as he knew exactly what it was. Swallowing thickly before he looked at her face once again, eyes scanning her face.
