@AureliaStilinski I've only seen bits and pieces of Umbrella Academy (my mom is watching it, I am not) and I think I've had this name since before the show was mentioned. my full username comes from an episode of GMM (Good Mythical Morning/More) where the prompt was about an old lady and her cats the dialog was along the lines of 
            
            R: Say "hi", Mittens
            L: Hi, Mittens
            R: I was talking to Mittens. Say "hi", Patches
            L: Hi, Patches
            R: I was talking to Patches.
            
            it's relatively obscure because I don't remember when that episode was published. it had definitely been out for a few years when I got to it

@iwastalkingtoPatches I've got recommendations for days, lol. And yeah, I do type fast, but then I misspell things and have to go back. Let me know what you think of them!

            I am blissfully unaware of the consequences, and because you don't explain why you laugh awkwardly, I just share recipes I find on the internet to make up for it.

@RandomNoodels  I made a presentation about them cuz I wanted to talk about this book (Fang Girl by Helen Keeble) without being super specific, so I focused on vampire mythology.

@ iwastalkingtoPatches  woah okay you're right, it is interesting. I only ever read the twilight series and never got to know more about it but you certainly seem to do your researche

@RandomNoodels no clue, but they have a whole area all to themselves in my brain. They're so malleable. They're just monstrous to stand out but human enough to blend in. They're social creatures, pack animals, like us
             and their often considered enemy, werewolves. You'll rarely find a solo vampire (that's why they're always hot). depending on the mythology or series lore, their concrete strengths and weaknesses can vary. also, vampirism is based off rabies symptoms. ya know, the disease that if you present symptoms you're doomed to die from. :)
