@AureliaStilinski i was guessing that your (queer) friends are separated by not knowing them in person or not living anywhere near them. I also didn't know what to say so I kinda repeated what you said and tried to relate cuz I've moved around but I don't need to know if you have, cuz privacy. phrased as if to say, "(and that's on) period(t)."

@AureliaStilinski I've only seen bits and pieces of Umbrella Academy (my mom is watching it, I am not) and I think I've had this name since before the show was mentioned. my full username comes from an episode of GMM (Good Mythical Morning/More) where the prompt was about an old lady and her cats the dialog was along the lines of 
            
            R: Say "hi", Mittens
            L: Hi, Mittens
            R: I was talking to Mittens. Say "hi", Patches
            L: Hi, Patches
            R: I was talking to Patches.
            
            it's relatively obscure because I don't remember when that episode was published. it had definitely been out for a few years when I got to it

@AureliaStilinski (golly you type fast) I can definitely see why you love both. I looked them both up and Black Phone does ring a bell. i remember seeing the trailer. i'll watch both and report back to you. thank you for telling me about them :)

@iwastalkingtoPatches And the Black Phone. Dear gods, I fricking love this movie. It takes place in like the 80's or something, and it's about a boy named Finney who finds himself taken by the elusive 'Grabber' who's been killing boys for years. His only hope of escape is a broken rotary phone on the wall with which he can communicate with the man's past victims, including Finney's best friend. It's so good, and the twist and the end makes me anxious every time, not matter who many times I've seen it and know what's coming. The second is coming out this October, and I'm so excited!! Definitely try it if you like thrillers. I love it so much.
