I have a conspiracy theory.
If Kagami's name means mirror and Adrien means water I think they're actually canon.
Because Adrien is or at least tries to be like his father a mirror but only with some changes(in a mirror you never see the same thing-its mirrored)
and Kagami's name means mirror maybe she's what he's trying to be. And so he feels she's amazing but he can never keep up. Adrien's name means water and Kagami's temperament is much like water gentle and calm but she can be rough when she's serious when she's fencing. This theory on Kagami's temperament can also explain the sudden switch Marinette and Adrien have as superheroes. Much like a tempest coming out of the blue, courage comes too?
Now that I think about it this prob means they aren't meant for each other because should try to be his own self not a mirror so he and Kagami can never be together or it might mean the opposite I'm not sure? Aww and Luka means light tf does that have to do with my conspiracy theory. But Luka also means wolf which could mean he only like Marinette cuz she has something, a miraculous maybe? Or maybe she's like someone he would see as a member of his pack so he just wants to protect her.
