Hello Wolfpack!
          
          Tomorrow morning, Act 3 will begin with Chapter 21! For those of you that would like early access to this month's chapters, feel free to subscribe and get chapters 21 - 24! (Either on Patreon or Inkitt)
          
          That being said, earlier... last week, actually... I finished Greywood Book 1! Yay! I finished a BOOK O___O!!! Currently it is sitting at about 82k words. That's... so many words and I'm... amazed that I was able to pull it off T_T. I do think the wordcount may change a bit while I make final edits to chapters 25-30, but this was a feat in itself!
          
          Upcoming changes:
          I feel that I'll be putting a heavy focus on getting the first 10 chapters of BOTH Dragon Soul and Greywood Book 2 (Act 1). I'm still considering what that release schedule will look like, but I'm feeling that I need a second book (or third... or fourth) released soon to showcase my writing and story telling. Dragon Soul will still be an LGBTQ+ story but I'm scrapping the omegaverse out of it... I've learned that while I enjoy reading that genre... I don't enjoy writing it as much...
          
          I also have TWO OTHER projects in consideration... My Olde Kingdoms universe and the new Project Yggdrasil (working title) that I'm... recycling from an old Star Fox Fanfic I wrote in college. So there are many stories ahead and I'm hoping you will all enjoy them!
          
          Something new - I am going to try and use my Ko-Fi again... For readers that have enjoyed my story but don't want to commit to a monthly sub, feel free to use that for tips. They're not mandatory, but all tips and support will be fully appreciated.

Hello to my Wattpad readers!
          
          It's taken me some time, but I've come to the decision that I will be closing my writing off from Wattpad and moving solely to Inkitt. Compared to all the other sites I've been releasing to, Wattpad has been the lowest in terms of engagement. There are also some other worries that I've noticed that are specific to author's works here that have been bothering me for a while also that finally have me concerned now that I have Acts 1 and 2 finished for Greywood. 
          
          For the meantime, I will be only leaving 5 chapters of the story up on the site, but readers that want to see the rest of the story as it moves on will have to move over to Inkitt.

I'm alive!
          
          ...mostly.
          
          I have survived my first year teaching middle school~ yaaay.  And now that it's summer I... honestly have no idea what to do with myself. At work I'm always..."on" and everything is so overstimulating that now that I'm on break, I'm finding it hard to navigate all this unstructured time.  I wonder if other teachers out there have the same feeling during this time of the year?
          
          Regardless... I'm going to try to use this time to get several more chapters up. Maybe even work on that second (or third) story that I've had in my head forever. It's the perfect time for me to do it and if I try to maintain a similar work schedule like during school hours, perhaps I'll have MANY CHAPTERS READY.  
          
          I'm being too ambitious, I know, but here's to trying!

Hello wolf pack!
          
          I wanted to share that the home situation and mold will be coming to an end this weekend - yaaaay!  I'm finally moving into a new place after having the owners (and the city) involved with my property manager's negligence in fixing the mold and water leaks in my current place.  I'm really hoping that things go smoothly from here in terms of dizziness and other health issues.
          
          I also have about...13 days left of school, with a rumor that I may be teaching 8th grade next year, which I find exciting.  But most importantly, I'm looking forward to having time to just sit and WRITE again.  My hiatus will be ending soon, and chapters will be up once more!
          
          For those of you who have kept with me, thanks for being here, and I hope to see you all again soon!

Hello wolf pack,
          I have some bad news. A lot of things have come to a head, and my home has been deemed a major mold issue. This has explained my stuffiness, varying dizziness, as well as lack of energy that has been going on for nearly a year.  To make things worse, my current property manager is doing little to nothing in terms of remedying the issue and... a lot of other things are now going on behind the scenes because of that.  For this reason, I'm working on moving out to a new place, filling my time with packing, school work, grades... all while managing health issues.
          
          As such, I'm going to need to take a bit of a hiatus in writing. I'm really sorry to say this, especially because I feel that Greywood has started to get some good momentum. I do plan on releasing chapters 19 and 20 in the near future to end ACT 2, but ACT 3 will probably come a bit later once things settle down and I've moved into my new place. 
          
          I feel really bad about this, but hope that after this break, all of you return to find out just how Ky and Rory get along.  Not to mention, how does Ky now fit into the pack as a rogue~
          
          I'll keep everyone updated as things move along.  Until then, wolf pack followers~

Hello, fellow wolf pack!
          
          I've come with some... well news.
          
          I am a bit delayed for the next four chapters.  While 19 and 20 are done, I need more time for 21 and 22.  Honestly, I was hoping to avoid this kind of "rush" again but school work has caught up to me and state testing is this month.  Not only that, my house has been having a lot of issues from a long-time ceiling leak that my room mate and I are finally getting an inspector to see if there is anything else wrong with my place and if mold is now an issue. So the likelihood of me moving within the next month is also going up...
          
          As such, I'm going to be delaying the release of chapters by one week to see if I can catch up. This will affect mostly my Patreon subscribers, who would normally get a full 4 chapters this month.  I did, however, do something similar with the end of Act 1 with a one-week pause, and I'm considering doing something like this again later.
          
          I am EAGERLY awaiting summer break, though, as I will be working not only on Greywood, but finally on Dragon Soul, as well as the Edgewater (Olde Kingdoms) series I've had in mind.  Also got a Sci-Fi genre in the works too, but just need the time to plan and write >.<. 
          
          Again, I apologize for the upcoming delay... but for those of you who liked chapter 18... I'm sure you'll like where 19 and 20 go :)

          It's been a while since I've posted an update - or at least it feels like it has!
          
          I hope you have been enjoying the story so far.  It does feel weird only having one chapter posted each week instead of my usual two, but I have to admit that it's given me more freedom to both write and not stress about updating with my current busy schedule.  Please, feel free to like and comment on my story, as I'd love to hear your feedback!
          
          While this post is EARLY, the next chapter will be up soon (6AM pst).  Also, if you'd like to get a head start on the next set of 4 chapters, don't forget that Patreon subs will have access to the full month's story!  This also includes bonus stories and lore tidbits which I'll be adding very soon!.

          As you may have noticed, Act 2 has started with chapter 11 posted on all platforms (Patreon, Royal Road, Wattpad, and Inkitt). And with the start of Act 2 comes the launch of EARLY ACCESS CHAPTERS!!! WHOO HOO!!!!
          
          For those of you interested, this is how it'll work:
          
          Each month (starting mid-month), the upcoming 4 chapters will be released early for subscribers. Public chapters will continue to release one chapter per week. Right now, early access includes chapters 11-14. Around March 13, the next set will be available.
          
          
          Subscribers will also get to see:
          - my world building notes
          - generated images and concept visuals
          - bonus chapters! (I'm already thinking of one Rory PoV chapter to go along with the lake scene...)
          
          I hope you all have been enjoying the story thus far! With work being work and keeping me busy, the steady one-chapter-per-week framing will keep you all well fed. But come spring break and even summer break, I'll be able to bring more life into Greywood and perhaps even get Dragon Soul posted as well!

          It's been a while since I posted up alerts or even updates here (I swear I'm more active on RR or even Bsky/X).  But I wanted to let everyone know that chapters from 11+ will be released only one a week.  This is mostly because work is kicking my ass and I"m finding little time to consistently have the ability to write outside of planning/grading.  However... for an incentive, if you're interested in seeing each month's chapters, they will all four be added to my patreon~.  No pressure to subscribe, but if you do want an early read, that option will now begin... shortly~ yes yes.
          
          I also want to THANK YOU ALL for reading my story.  Greywood has been a passion project for a while and I"m happy to see you all enjoying what has come from it so far.  I do hope you'll enjoy what's to come too.

Hello everyone!
          
          This will actually mark the end of Arc 01 of Greywood!  I hope you've enjoyed my story so far as I've really really enjoyed writing it.  I do however, have some bad news for the story.  
          
          As of now, work has been kicking my ass (and mix in new WoW stuff happening....) so I have not been able to get as much extra writing as I wanted or liked.  I had AIMED to finish act 2 during my winter break but most of it was spent sick and recovering.  That being said, Act 2 is... probably 60% done, but I'll need more of a buffer to comfortably release it and write more.  With that said... I'll be resorting to only releasing ONE chapter on Friday's now instead of two... SORRY!  But I need more time to get out something that isn't rushed and that I feel good about.  I hope you will understand and stick with me as the story continues.
          
          Next week - there will be no chapter releases as I need a one-week break.  Act 2, Chapter 11 - A Warning, will release on February 13.  I hope you're looking forward to it!
