On Tuesday 21st April 2020, a bored, isolated man impulsively decided to challenge himself to write a short story every other day. He'd not written much since he left secondary school, though the passion for storytelling still remained inside of him. With literally nothing else to do, what harm would a simple challenge like this cause? Well, little did this man know that not only would this challenge become an obsession - taking over any spare second that he had over the next year - but it would also redefine everything he thought his life would be.
I started the WeoD Challenge to fill the abundance of time that I had sitting indoors during lockdown. I ended the WeoD Challenge with a hunger to write until I could write no more, and an imagination bursting with different stories and characters.
So now - as of writing this, almost three years since I began - I have started to take this hobby a little more seriously. I have progressed further than just being a short story writer. I am currently writing a book, with my eye on the next few at the same time. And this page, which I am truly thankful that you have decided to click on, is designed to showcase everything that I am proud to say I am working on. I hope that I am able to convey my passion through the work that I share, and I hope that you will join me on what I hope will be a long and rewarding journey.
