Kneeling down , the huntress examined the body with a keen gaze . She had just arrived in town only to start her investigation almost immediately. ‘The body is still warm’ she thought to herself , the sound of a footstep pulling her from thought as she turned to the figure immediately , one hand grasping her holster defensively while the other prepared for a back up attack . “show yourself , I know you’re still here.”

Her hand stayed on her holster but she still had not drawn her weapon , she saw no immediate threat but was prepared in case things escalated quickly. “Who are you? ‘What’ are you.” Gabrielle knew the second answer but she wanted to hear what response she would hear back . She could tell a lot about her prey by their answers , considering that she did show mercy to creatures that showed that they held a bit of humanity left inside of them despite the acts they took part in.
