I discovered my passion for writing during the summer of 2009 after an online story I was reading abruptly ended, leaving me desperately wanting more. It was then that I decided to try my hand at fan fiction and write my own story. After much prodding, I was convinced to post it on the internet and gained enough favor and success to forever cement my love of writing and storytelling. 

A few years later I went on to publish my first novel, a Phantom of the Opera fan fiction titled "Thoughts of Summertime." In it, I took the plot that we all know and love and twisted it around until it was almost a completely original story. The characters were still there, but everything else was turned upside-down. While writing Phantom of the Opera fan fiction was ultimately what got me started writing and made me realize that I might have a knack for it, it's writing for the Mass Effect fandom where I truly feel at home. I've always been a gamer, with much of my focus being on story-driven role-playing video games, and I can't think of a better example than the Mass Effect series. The story and character development through all three games is utterly amazing, and miles ahead of the rest of the video games out there. With so many possibilities and choices to make, from Shepard's background to romances, the untold stories in which to write about become limitless. 

I have several Mass Effect stories out right now, all widely received by the legions of wonderful fans. I am truly humbled and honored by the reception. My pride and joy, a story called "Parallel Lives", is an alternate universe look at what would happen if there were two Shepards, with time-travel and lots of action and romance thrown in the mix. It starts at the end of ME1 and will go all the way through ME3. At 25 chapters and counting, it is my most successful fic to date, and I'm far from finished with it.
