          I know it's been a really long time since I last updated this story, and I want to sincerely apologize for disappearing without any explanation.
          First of all, I want you all to know that I have not abandoned any stories. Life got busy, and I had to deal with a few things outside of writing, which made it difficult for me to stay active and update regularly. Even though I wasn't posting, the stories were never forgotten.
          I truly appreciate everyone who stayed, voted, commented, reread chapters, and continued supporting the story during my absence. Your patience means a lot to me.
          I'm slowly getting back into writing, and I hope to start updating again soon. Thank you for sticking around and for not giving up on this story.

Apparently some people have decided that my account secretly belongs to my wife now. Wow. Breaking news. Congratulations to the detectives of Wattpad University. 
          Let me clear the confusion before some of you start opening investigation committees.
          My wife and I are two different human beings with two different brains, two different writing styles, and two different chaotic imaginations. We just both happen to write whatever madness our brains cook up. Shocking, I know.
          So no, she is not secretly running my account. I know it might be hard to believe that two friends can both write stories without stealing each other's identity, but please try to stay strong during this difficult realization.
          And to the people dragging her name into this nonsense — if you’re that confused, maybe try actually reading the stories properly. The differences in writing style are literally sitting there waving at you. The tone, the pacing, the way we write characters… plenty of differences if you open your eyes instead of opening drama.
          But I guess reading carefully is harder than creating conspiracy theories.
          Anyway, if thinking my wife owns my account helps you sleep at night, please continue. I support your imagination. Clearly it’s working overtime.
