Hi! I'm Janie and I write German fiction, mostly Romance. I'm a little rebel and a tea drinker. I have a serious addiction to words and I'm totally obsessed with all things yellow. It's like when I see something yellow I make everyone aware of the fact that it is yellow and that I like it therefore; example: look up there's yellow paint in the background image, I like this... 

My stories are about young women who have to deal with change. They still have to find their way in life. I like writing about what to expect of a woman when she's becoming independent from her family. When you're in your twenties you suddenly start thinking about kids, marriage, career and all the other grown-up-stuff. Headaches are inevitable.

Life changes, plans won't work out and you have to adjust to those changes by changing yourself and I think that's what life is about.

Then there's love. I like to say that I'm not the kind of searching-for-my-one-and-only-who-is-meant-for-me-person but I'm also not averting my eyes. Most of my characters are like me or the exact opposite. They like to say that they don't want nor need love or they're totally obsessed with it, but people change. 

I think that there's more than love and that we shouldn't concentrate on it so much. Love finds us whether we're looking or not, since no one really wants to be alone forever.
