J. is a 5th grade teacher in Maryland who has been writing since she was 11 years old. J. was first inspired to write by a dream that she had, along with some encouragement from her parents. J.'s writing inspirations include C.S. Lewis, J.R.R. Tolkien, and Frank Peretti, just to name a few. J. primarily dabbles in action/adventure and fantasy, though she is currently stretching her writing muscles by writing a story set in the D.C./Maryland area.
