I am an artist/designer by trade and have been working on my fantasy/sci-fi/adventure manuscript in some form or another for years (on and off admittedly). It had originally started off as a children's picture book, morphed into a planned graphic novel and then finally as a traditional story in its current state. Though the story has grown as well as the troupe of players in it, the core messages are still the same. As time has passed I've had to revisit much of the original stilted writing to edit and re-edit to get the flow where it needs to be.
