To anyone reading this. Ive read a lot of stories since joining Wattpad. I'm feeling the itch to write my first Wattpad published story. I have a few idea of what I'd like to write but still am in the development stage. Just a few questions if anyone wants to comment:

          	1. Setting - Gang/Mafia, Financially Rich, Wherewolf, Vampire, W vs. V, star trek (not star wars), other ideas?

          	2. Locations?

          	3. Names?

          	4. Plot ideas (good situation turns to problem situation turns to bad situation turns to "And they all lived happily ever after..... Until the sequel comes."

          	5. Posting: As the chapter is written (slow updates - cliff hanger? No cliff hanger?), scheduled chapter posting once I have a few written (bi-weekly), or all at once when it's complete?

          	6. Rules of the story that aren't realistic to real life?

It's going to be awhile because I am busy but the itch is giving me ideas and I'll randomly start writing.

Also, I will not write smut, curse words, and will avoid politically charged topics (definitely will write violence, action, and adventure. Comedy will be attempted but I won't promise it'll be funny or clever since that's the opinion of the reader). Smut and cursing may or may not be implied depending what I'm feeling while writing. The cover and description will be created after the book has a few chapters. Other than these things, I'm open to anything.

Basically I want to write something that I can't seem to find anywhere and am wondering if my potential readers are looking for something that's missing from the stories they read/watch.

@The_Milky_Weigh I like the idea. It'll be a long project but I'm willing to co-write it with you. One of many reasons I haven't written one yet is because I'm trying to figure out a unique motive. Even, "Kidnapped by accident for some reason" has been written a lot too.

Another problem I have with kidnapping stories is that it's hard to balance between predictably cruel, abusive, and too gory, and predictably, "bat my eyelashes, kiss him, and he'll let me go but I wanna marry him now." In the last example, most stories will have a sense of danger then the danger goes away within 5 mins of reading.

Thanks for the short comment. I suppose if you don't mind the story being short, I could try writing something 1-5 pages long. I'll DM you when I get started. Go ahead and DM me if I'm taking too long.

@jaymiotome 1) all the above except Star Trek. I love it so much but I haven't watched some and don't want spoilers. For other ideas maybe do one about Norse, Egyptian, or Mayan gods?
          	  2) Northern Europe, Africa (like Seychelles), New Zealand, or South America. I don't see those enough.
          	  3) Any. I once read a book set in Egypt and the guys name was Clyde. It was weird but eh.
          	  4) Forbidden love, Hades and Persophone type of story, role reversal, apocalyptic, or second chances story
          	  5) I love to devour my books
If you want me to barrage you with update soon then by all means, yes, cliff hangers
          	  6) Don't care really, just nothing too out there. I mean obviously it's fiction but I'd like it to stick somewhat to reality. Like no pregnant males. I just don't get that. I'm not homophobic, I just - women have an exit for the baby, not men. C-section fine but if they didn't have that available like how would that work? Oops. Sorry. Sort of derailed.

You should definitely put that on your book to let people know. I've seen authors who don't and readers just tear them down because they want smut

Are you still active on here? I've missed your rants

@MexiAquarius Hi! Thanks for your support! I really appreciate it. I've been busy with life so I haven't done a lot of Wattpad reading. My new hobby is Pokemon Go due to the amount of exercise it encourages.

My current activity here is the comment section. When people reply to my comments or a section of comments that I previously made a comment in, I review them and comment as necessary. If I ever get back to reading more and find more commonly used annoying material, I'll make more rants. I'm also at the beginning stages of considering a book to write. I don't know if this is going to happen or not because the idea has been in my head on and off for 20 years (I was with a writing club when I was in High School. I graduated and no longer had time to write but have good memories of what I wrote. I'll either write a book based on what I already wrote, my life story (Air Force meets Marine, marries within 4 months, married for 16+ years), or some kind of combination of the two (Fictional story based on my life story)). My concern is when I publish my work, I might be a cursed of stealing someone else's work (copyright issues).

@BELLAS-SECRET great, thank you so much! The book is still in the editing process, but if you follow me on here or social media I will be announcing the date etc... being able to donate used e books is a great idea!!!

@BELLAS-SECRET np! Put your other book on my published list. When I can, I like to buy the books. I'll ask for more information before I buy if what you already provided wasn't enough convincing (happened on oneWattpad book already). Wish we could donate after reading a book because I read many for free and didn't have that option.

May I ask you why you added one of my stories to a list entitled 'Finished/Not Interested?' Did you read the story? If you did then of course to are free to have an opinion but don't you think even having such a list is disrespectful? Anyway, have a nice day.

KarlOConnor

Darn auto correct. Couple of typos in the above, ah well.

Oh OK, that makes sense. I have a lot of writing many of which go back quite some time. A lot of it still does need a good going over. I do try yo make each story as good as possible do that whomever takes the time to read anything I have written gets the best possible story I can put together.

Seeing you list title gave me the impression that you thought little of one of my writings and were advertising it as poor. I took it up wrong so I apologise for that. Thank you for taking time to get back to me.

            Pleasant wishes to you.

BTW, I did enjoy reading your title and saw a few of your other titles I'll be interested in reading. Thank you for your work and sharing it.
