@jaytheninja WOW! That's amazing! congratulations, really that's awesome, I have been on WP for a while and just about a week ago I uploaded my first chapter of a story, I think it's awesome from you to be new here and already have something to share :D

@Armiella Hi! Thanks for understanding :)
Just one more thing, the "Blindly asking everyone on their profiles to read your story is excessive spamming" refers to people that just say something like: Hi! Please read my story over an over again to everyone, what you are doing is not excessive spamming, you are trying to connect with the users, and that's cool, just don't do that with the newbies, 'cuz they are still learning how WP works, so it's fine, as long as you don't do it to the newbies :)
          Thanks again! And enjoy Wattpad!

@CrisLo Thank you for clarifying. I will be sure to not spam newbies, I realize that is against the rules and I can respect that. I never post on someone's board without reading their about me, (unless they don't have one). I actually try to incorporate something about them into my message to be personal and start a conversation. If they don't have an about me, I usually try to say something about their username or something, though I will admit I do often just tell them someething about myself and continue if they have nothing for me to work with. If this is considered spam, and spam is considered such a bad thing that people are incapable of ignoring, (excuse my harshness; I'm a stressed teenage female writer), then I will try not to do this in the future.
I actually have looked at the tips already and taken advantage of them, however they just don't give me the personal connection I get from asking someone to read my story specifically. I would say something about my thoughts on Wattpad being a friendly place, but that gets a bit too political and might be considered offensive, so I'll stop now.
