Sorry there hasn’t been an update to Thick & Thin in a bit! I’ve been in a writing slump. I’ve been going back through previous chapters and making a few spelling and grammatical corrections, and hopefully I’ll have the next chapter up this weekend! 

Sorry for the lengthy delay between updates for Thick and Thin, but I've been stuck at home with covid these week so I've gotten a lot of writing done!

Chapter five of Thick and Thin will be out tomorrow afternoon. I've included a trigger warning at the top of the chapter, but I just want to reiterate that it contains both SA and DV. As the story progresses it's going to cover lots of heavy topics so please keep that in mind while reading. As always, thanks for your support!

I hope everyone is enjoying the different POV's in Thick & Thin! It's making it a bit more difficult to write but I think seeing everyone's perspective is really important to telling the story. The first time I wrote Thick & Thin a few years ago, the entire thing was in Brooke's perspective so I wanted to try and give the story more depth this time. I apologize to anyone who doesn't like the switching POV's from chapter to chapter. I got the inspiration from Game of Thrones, my favorite book series of all time!

I know it's been close to a year since I posted the preface to Thick & Thin announcing that I was going to be rewriting it, but rest assured I haven't forgotten. I actually had some time off work this week and have been writing almost nonstop. I went ahead and published the first two chapters and already have the third scheduled to go up Friday. I can't promise that I'll always be uploading chapters this consistently because I don't have a ton of time for writing between work and adulting, but I'm very excited to bring this story back to life and I think you'll find it to be much better than before since I've had almost seven years to learn and grow. I hope you enjoy it as much as I do and thank you for sticking around all these years and being so patient with me!

I’m back!!! 
          
          I haven’t been on this app in 3 years and I don’t even know if any of my followers are active anymore, but basically I’ve been really struggling with my mental health and adulting. I started this account when I was 17, and I’m 24 now. A lot has happened in that time period, and I actually haven’t written anything at all in about 2 years. I lost my passion for it. I lost my passion for everything. But lately I’ve been really wanting to get back into it, and I thought what better way than to actually do the rewrite of Thick and Thin that I promised you all way back in 2018! 
          
          I think I’ve sort of outgrown fanfiction, but I did really enjoy writing that series and it seemed pretty popular with you guys. Plus, my writing skills are pretty rusty since I haven’t done it in so long and I figured revisiting an old story would make for good practice. If anyone is still here after all this time, thank you so much for following and for being patient! 

Big news! I know I've been MIA for a really long time, but I'm back and cooking up something spoopy for Halloween. This will be an Avenged Sevenfold fanfiction! I've not been much into writing fanfic as I've grown older, but I feel I owe it to you guys since Thick and Thin was such a huge hit and I kind of left you all in the dust (more on that later). Thank you to anyone who is currently reading this, for still following me after all this time. I promise you it will be worth the wait!

I know this account has been kind of bogus recently. It started as a fanfiction account back in 2014-ish, when I was in high school and just starting to *really* delve into writing. I just want you guys to know that I've gotten a little older now and will probably no longer be writing fanfiction of any kind. Thank everyone so much for supporting my fanfictions in the past <3 
          
          I've also been struggling quite a bit with depression and an anxiety disorder, and pretty much lost all passion to write actual stories. I've written a few lyrics here and there, but that's been about it. I apologize if there has been any confusion with things being published and then disappearing. 
          
          I have plans this year to get back on track and write a ton of songs (found in my collection book if you want to check them out) as well as taking some ideas from previously published stories and turning them into new, better ones. 
          
          Thank you for sticking with me on this journey and I hope you'll support my original works just as much as you did my fanfictions!
