Hello, beautiful people. I'm back. I'm so so sorry for my prolonged absence and lack of updating. As of late, IRL has been hitting me from all angles.
1.) I had just returned from being out of the country when I made my last update.
2.) My very close friend group has split up, moving to different states and countries.
3.) I'm getting married.
4.) He's also leaving the country in a few days and will be gone for a year. lol.
5.) My family's health has been on a steady decline. My mom and grandmother both.
I apologize again, it's not that I don't want to write, but my time and energy that I normally gear towards writing is placed in other aspects of my life. I have some downtime this evening so I'll pick away at the next chapter and hopefully, I can have the new update ready soon. If not, please please don't lose faith in me. It's rocky right now, but I swear I'm climbing my way back to my passion.

I’ve recently been spooked by something that hasn’t happened to me since I was in middle school. My co workers found my book by going through my browser history on a work computer. I’m absolutely mortified and I’m trying so hard not to just delete my entire account. Please be patient with me as I toy with the update. I’m unsure of how long it will be before I’m able to post a new chapter on The Mating Season. This has given me copious amount of anxiety.

@jordanthenerd Hold your head up high. What you have written is spectacular. I've read a lot of terrible stories, and yours is not one of them. You should be proud of your work.
@jordanthenerd @jordanthenerd ahh must be so annoying ...you probably wanted to hide under a blanket forever I do agree with the other comments though & I hope you can find the strength to continue .This is honestly one of the best and well-written works on wattpad. I love the characters and how you're promoting healthy relationships instead of toxic ones. It was so addictive, I stayed up till dawn reading it overnight and can't wait to read the rest. Something I really needed this week in the pandemic. You're really a talented writer ✨
