As we approach the halfway point of Stood in the Rain, tomorrow I am releasing character aesthetics and there's also a little announcement at the end of the chapter. (Also 400 reads? When did that happen? Thank you everyone so much, I really appreciate it!)

I just noticed that Stood in the Rain hit 200 reads and keeps going up! Thank you everyone, no matter how much you've read. It's so nice to see something I've created slowly being found by people. We're almost halfway through and I really can't believe how fast it's going. <3

We are so back. First motivation to write in weeks. Can promise a chapter at my usual time tomorrow (/today depending on time zones ofc). Still aiming to have the book finished by the end of June but there's no way my update schedule atm is gonna allow that so I'll either up the frequency of chapters once it's all done or just make you all wait longer (may do a poll when the time comes, idk) while I work on the next one I have planned. Not really sure yet, we'll see. I'll try and keep updating on my schedule tho, it's just been a difficult couple of weeks for me.

I've got a lot of uni work so there's no update today, and also none Wednesday. Might get one in next Saturday if I get chance but probably not very likely. Expect me to be busy for ages guys cause exams next term. I am locking in after that though once those are done I'll have so much free time. Goal is to get book done and released by the end of the academic year (so June-ish) but we shall see <3

Hi jazz,

My name is Suzanne, and I work with book clubs and reader communities to help emotionally driven stories reach readers who truly connect with them. I recently came across Stood in the Rain, and Mauricio’s journey really stood out to me, especially the mix of academic pressure, anxiety, and the hesitant connection he begins forming with Raiden. That kind of quiet, emotionally layered storytelling often builds very dedicated and supportive reader communities.

Stories that explore vulnerability, mental health, and slow-developing relationships tend to spark meaningful discussions, and I believe your book would resonate strongly with readers who value character depth and emotional realism.

I’d love to connect and explore ways to introduce your story to more readers and discussion groups who would genuinely appreciate it. If you’re open to it, I’d be happy to share a few ideas for promotion and reader engagement.

          Looking forward to connecting.
