Hey I'm Alexis and here's my conspiracy theory on Wattpad:

Okay so the reason we got ads on Wattpad is because of Radish. Radish came out all new and shining where they pay the authors. Where did they get these authors from? From Wattpad they came in during the night and stole some writers from Wattpad with the promise of payment. What author isn't going to join when they will get paid. So Wattpad was like we can't let all our authors leave so we will try to do a lil thing to help the authors. So bang here we have ads. But there was also this new app where it's like chat stories so to be ahead of the game Wattpad released a new update where there are chat stories. So that's all folks my theory to all the change Wattpad is making.
