My favourite genre to read in is YA fantasy, and it just so happens that my favourite to write in is also YA fantasy. Two of my favourite authors are Marissa Meyer and Shannon Messenger. Also, I'm not lying when I tell you that I read so much without stopping that I was required to get glasses. 
Also, I like to write conflicted or unhappy endings. I might (possibly) write a story with a happy ending, so for those people who like happy endings, don't give up hope!
