Hey humans! 

My name is Emilia and I'm an amateur writer. Life's taken a bit of a detour over the past few years as I've had to come to grips with chronic illness, but I'm hoping that posting here will help me to battle through. I love stories and their power to show us who we are and to create empathy. Tolkien was my initiate fandom as a teenager, and since then I've joined many a geektribe and become quite the hardcore shipper. I'm usually very private with my work, so this is a strange feeling sharing it with virtual strangers, but hey, without doing something scary every once in a while, life would be pretty boring.
