Hi guys.
Today marks my 6th year as a Wattpad author. I recently completed my 15th story, ‘My Love Hereafter’, last month, and on top of that, ‘Jeff’s Not Yet Dead?’ got shortlisted for this year’s Wattys.
For six years, I wrote 15 different stories. A trilogy. A spin-off. Two short stories. Four TS stories. Five stand-alones. I hopped on various genres, until I found my niche on fantasy and romance tropes. Not to mention those eleven poetry anthologies and two special poetry releases. Up to this day, I still could not believe the fact I was able to write a lot, despite having a hard time juggling my passion for writing and my studies at the same time.
Today, I am writing this post to let you guys know that I will be taking a break from writing. I know. It breaks my heart to tell you this, but life has gotten harsher on my end now. I have already reached the point where I have to make my ends meet—that writing couldn't suffice. Simply because I still cannot make a living out of all six years of hard work.
I appreciate all my friends and readers who continue to give warm support for my stories from the very first day until now. I still couldn’t believe that my works would reach thousands of reads—all because of you. No words could fully express how grateful I am to all of you.
Though it remains uncertain how long my hiatus will be, I will come back one day. I hope to give better stories worth your time to read.
