hii ! so random question about henrik’s lore, but you’ve stated that esther “remade his body from scratch” and so i was wondering does this mean that his physical appearance is different than how he looked when he died or was esther able to fully recreate his original body and he looked exactly the same when he was resurrected ? i’ve always been really curious about it !

hi! that’s such a good question, thank you for asking. short answer is he looks the same. the explanation is that esther used his ashes to resurrect him, almost exactly like how davina resurrected kol in season 3 of the originals using the ashes of his vampire body. henrik aged of course but when he was first resurrected he looked the same as he had before, except he came back with scars bc esther didn’t quite do it exactly right. xoxo
