So, to all my friends and foes, a little update: with confirmation of the next season of RWBY having been confirmed I've set a deadline of sorts, since the Hammer of Remnant is being rewritten from the foundations up across the board, I have decided that when the next season drops I'll be releasing everything I've finished by that point, hopefully including a number of NEW chapters(even though I've barely had time to work on it for the past year or so) AND I'll be releasing insight into the madness that is my creative process as well as plot points I had to trim to align everything into a cohesive story, so keep an eye out for the new season of RWBY because the Lord of Iron too awaits its arrival.

To clarify there's going to be non-cannon chapters that have thoughts I liked but had to pass on to keep the plot on-track and a few other goodies literally nobody asked for.

No, but Hammer of Remnant is undergoing a MASSIVE overhaul in a new, more detailed style, as well as tweaks to the story to better fit the roadmap I half-baked when I was already waist deep in writing the fic, I can promise you that Hammer of Remnant will not be dead unless there’s a big ol [ABANDONED] in the title and on the cover.

Just found out about RoosterTeeth being shut down. It’s a tragedy for a lot people, but I already saw RT was going downhill after they fired Joel Heyman, better known as Michael J. Caboose or Professor Oobleck. But even with that it was sudden, I, after watching through the entirety of RWBY still thought it was a pretty good show, even if I wasn’t the target audience, and that leads me to an announcement on The Hammer of Remnant, I’m not canceling it, not at all, but even if another company picks up RWBY, I’m going to end The Hammer of Remnant after the final Season because I had already mused a few endings, even if only temporary ones, and on that note; I’m happy to announce the next chapter will be coming soon*.
          Also believe it or not, it’s canon to the main shows timeline, the DC crossovers.
          
          *within 2-3 months. Turns out ending a chapter with a guy in one ton of inert Ceramite having a building fall on him makes it hard to follow up on.

So, I was looking around in HBO MAX and found something. It us an official RWBY X DC movie, and I have never been more afraid of something in my life. There are only 2 ways that movie can go and neither are good.

[Two updates in a single night?! What a rare occasion! Anyway I've literally written the word 'Lament' so many times over the past hour it doesn't sound real. Enjoy The Last Lamenter because once I finish that (its only gonna be a few more chapters) I'm gonna buckle down and work on HoR.

Forgot to mention: I have indeed decided it isn't a self-contained story and is a sort of supporting text.

MAJOR UPDATE:
          Hammer of Remenant will be on a short Hiatus while I rewatch the entirety of RWBY to make sure I don't accidentally nip pivotal plot points in the bud, untill then stay on the edge of your seats, because this is not the end of Perturabos story.

I will also be going through and fixing any spelling mistakes and polishing up what's already done.

@maxorthebest like I replied to your last post, I've had writers block, and I've been trying my best to get past it, but I cannot promise a release date, I had high hopes, but as you can see, I still haven't achieved the minimums that I'm comfortable releasing it at.

@maxorthebest I've been working on it, but I've had writers block for a while, and it hasn't reached the character goal yet, but hopefully it'll be out in a few days.
