@Romizabooks That's awesome that you had the opportunity to a review a book by a self-published writer! I wish you the best of luck with the Wattpad contests. Maybe one day I'll return here with a Wattpad only story that I don't necessarily plan to publish... perhaps a fanfiction. I used to write a lot of HP fanfiction in my teen years and it might be fun to revisit at some point if I find the time :) 
            
            We definitely need to keep in touch xx

@Romizabooks Hey!! Long time no see! I've missed you. And I've missed Wattpad. I'm still revising. I took a long break because I had knee surgery recently and am in recovery. So I just really haven't been motivated or in the head space. I think I burnt myself out by all the work I was doing to revise my story a few months ago. I'm starting to get that itch to write again though, so I imagine I'll start up again soon. I'm not really in a rush though since the Middle Grade market is still in a slump right now. I'll probably be in a position to query late summer, early fall maybe? 
            
            How have you been doing? How's life going? Your writing? Hope you've been well! :)

I’d term it more as a hiatus. I’ll be back :) I still have a reading list I want to get through on here. I’ve just been insanely busy lately with revisions/prepping my query submission package/work/life haha. Hope you’re doing well!

Just dropping a note to let you know I haven’t forgotten this! It’s still on my to-read list. I’ve just stepped away from Wattpad for a bit of a hiatus. Things have been really busy between work and querying preparation. And I’m still trying to cut word count in my book. But I’ll be back! I have another knee surgery scheduled for May, so I’ll have some down time
