            True they just follow the canon or decided to watch what the makers showed them on screen they pass their own opinions .
            There was nothing romantic about Klaroline except Klaus being a sweet talker he continuously kept stalking her crossing boundaries with her then abused her physically he did the same with Camille the only difference is they played with her mind and took her free will and in their eyes that's romantic and love and just fiction like you said and the excuse they use for the ships saying everyone was meant to find their soulmate so they did 

@jennifer5443 they don't even care for them that's just fiction so why would they get pressed about immoral or illegal pairing.
            I mean if fans can ship Canon Klaroline after everything Klaus put her through same with Canon Steferine or how they prefer shipping a Mom with baby's uncle instead of wanting Mom and Dad together or they're okay with Marbekah (an aunt and her adopted nephew) + those who ship a torturer and his victim (aka the Canon dynamic for Bonnie and Kaï) a therapist and her patient is the not that bad to ship in their minds.

@jennifer5443 well the Klaus and Elijah Brotherhood was already popular since TVD so them becoming main character of their own series just made the duo even more popular with fans saying they're the Stefan and Damon of TO not realizing how toxic Klaus and Elijah duo actually is compared to Stefan and Damon or Kol and Klaus

            True the only reason the show became the massive because of the cast itself and that's why The Klaus and Elijah brotherhood became popular otherwise they were toxic

Well like I said the writters just cared about the Drama nothing else so they destroyed TO when the show had so much potential but no they prefer catering to the fan's wishes even though it makes no sense plot or character wise.
            I personaly watched almost all the show since I was waiting for Klayley to happen (I was still convince they would happen at some point but I lost interest in the show when Hayley died, like I watched the show everytime a new season was completed so it's been a while since my last rewatched and I basically grew up with the show so didn't realized until years after how TO wasn't that good of a series the plot was too messy and there was too much character personality change and the only reason the show is so popular is because of the acting performance the cast delivered.
