i dont know if im a cmbyn anti or not . . .
          	  like, the whole thing with arnie hammer maybe being a cannibal is bullshit. learn to seperate the actor from the role.
          	  but then, the age gap. oliver is 24 and elio is 17. in italy ( the movie set ), the age of consent is 14, so there is no legal issues with that, but oliver is american and the age of consent there is 16-18. so, that kinda presents him as  slightly predatory?
          	  but, still it's also kinda of a "personal opinion"  thing, too? i have a friend who is 10 years older than her boyfriend, but she's 21, so it's legal all the way. 
          	  but, also like, the author was straight and i dont have anything against straight people, butttt it's weird.
