As a writer, I believe my duty is not to create, but to convey. My characters are their own entities. My job is to plop them into different scenarios and watch them work their way out. The magic is not in creating, but in observing. They each have their own stories. I'm just here to write it.
Simply put, my writing is nothing more than a beehive. You don't split the hive open to see what's inside. You stop. Press your ear against the hive. And you feel.
Just that simple.
