Hiiiiii! I'll be posting a draft of the first chapter of my first fantasy book soon!! I'm so excited for you to read it! My Adobe Photoshop is down, so the cover sucks, but hopefully it'll be fixed soon. Okay, okay...title reveal (always up for change, ofc)...Heart So Gentle!
It's a Romeo and Juliet inspired story where main characters Eleanor and Hallam were born to hate each other and constantly compete against each other. And just because we're always supporting the feminist movement, it deals a lot with Eleanor trying to escape the life typically set out for young women as she trains to make her way to the King's Competition and become a knight.
I'm so excited to work on this with you all!! <3
Just an update about CLT! I’m going to post one more chapter within the next few days, then start editing. This doesn’t mean that the story is over, I’m just not completely happy with it. And let’s be honest, it could use some work. So stay with me!! I know I suck at updating, but to explain shortly, I wanna drop out of school sooooo bad. This semester is killing me. Anyway, happy reading ily!!!
Lost my doggy today. Losing furry friends are hard. Way harder than I thought.

Or barking at cars (or air).
He hasn’t eaten from the food bowl I refilled.
He hasn’t drank his water, even though I put ice cubes in it.
All his toys wait patiently.
So does his bed.
Also my face burns. Crying is quite the activity.

Hang in there. It sucks loosing people but in time the hurt feels more distant. Try and hold onto the good things

@audreycab06 hi! Thank you so much for reading and I’m so happy you love the book! I’m feeling a bit uninspired right now, and I know it’s been a while, but I update when I’m able to. When talking about heavy topics such as mental health, and especially with a disorder that has so much negative stigma already around it, it’s important to make sure I’m giving you the best chapters possible not only to educate but for you to enjoy! I want to have fun writing, and deadlines make it a chore. I hope this clears things up, even though I know it wasn’t the answer you were looking for! ❤️❤️
One of the hardest things to learn about writing is writing for you and not for others.
If you’re struggling to write because others might not like it, put it in a Google Doc and read it when you’re bored. Most likely, you’re your own target audience. You’ll love it, highly recommend.
@liontamer1234 ahhhh that’s so cool! I’m glad I’m not the only one who does that but yeah unless I wrote something when I was 14, I tend to enjoy the things I write every now and then
That a really great tip. Incidentally, I just read this one short story I wrote a month or two ago and it was inspired by a photo of war refugees but I didn’t know that so I wrote about dudes reenacting the creation of Adam painting and being killed by a falling slab of concrete cause they were doing it in a construction site. It was great reading it so this tip is tested.
Boy names are such a struggle. I don’t want a Craig, but Lightning Rod is also not ideal. Thank you, baby naming websites, for those.
