@AnneJamison2 this is the link to the Harry Styles story I mentioned earlier: http://www.wattpad.com/story/5257790-animal-attraction-narry

Wattpad compared to other websites you may read fanfiction on has much more interaction between a reader and the writer. There is also more interaction between readers. Readers have the chance to talk to any one they wish to in the comments of a story. On some other websites I have used often the only person who can see what people have commented is the writer themselves. I'm not sure if that answered your question or not.

@AnneJamison2 I have read a fair bit of RPF (I believe that was the term used) in a variety of fandoms. From One Direction het to Black Veil Brides slash. On wattpad I have found a large amount of AU fanfiction in which the characters are portrayed with a somewhat mythical spin. From Andrew Biersack (Black Veil Brides) as a vampire to Niall Horan (One Direction) as Harry Styles' (also One Direction) house cat. This is not unique to Wattpad and I have found similar stories on an array of sites but the fantasy element appears more prominent on Wattpad. I am unsure as to wether this observation is useful of simply interesting.

I would really like to see the Harry Styles cat fic. I am trying to read as many people/characters as animals as I can. Do you find the Wattpad interface and/or community comparable to other sites or blogs you've read fanfic on? (I mean, the user experience or whatever--as distinct from the stories, if you can separate it out.) Thanks for the info on the paranormal RPF, I will try to check some of those out. Maybe in tags?
