I have loved books and reading for as long as I can remember. When I was young I would take a candle to bed so I could read under my covers - sorry Mum, so dangerous! I would sit in the library and read as many books as possible before I had to choose which 3 to take home. I even used to hide books inside my text books at school so I could carry on reading during lessons - sorry again Mum! I've made meals with one hand because I just couldn't bear to stop reading and I've stayed up until the early hours of the morning thinking just one more chapter, just one more chapter. I will literally read anything. I love chick lit and I love thriller, crime and suspense novels- although nothing too gory. I've also developed a passion for cosy mystery, not so surprising because I also love watching Miss Marple, Poirot and Midsomer Murders! I've read fantasy, Sci-Fi and YA novels and I also love historical fact based fiction such as Philippa Gregory's wonderful Tudor and the Plantagenet series.
I've recently moved to The Cotswolds, an incredibly beautiful area of the UK and I finally have time to sit down and write. I hope it leads to something ... who knows! I can't imagine a better life than writing for a living. Imagine being forced to sit at home and write - all day, every day!!
