Space adventure lifestyle writer, freelance biographer of washed-up swashbucklers, and occasional horror writer.
One day, while reading The Princess Bride and crowing shamefully in the cafe, I finally decided to start writing fantasy and sci-fi. I started with a washed-up swashbuckler in Niles Gilcrest, Man of England, of which you may read an excerpt below. I wondered what someone like Westley/Dread Pirate Roberts might be like at 55.
I didn't truly become an author out of the blue though. I've been a news editor, environmental reporter, entertainment blogger, and I've written and produced over a dozen one act plays in Seattle, mostly comedies.
