I will not be posting on this account anymore for multiple reasons I have been needing to take a break from social medias for a while now. I will take this time to reflect on my actions I did a stupid thing and have no rights to make any excuses, I am sorry to all of the amazing writers I have stolen works from I'm not gonna make up excuses I'm just sorry. you don't have to forgive me just know that I am truly sorry. @Coffee_eeffoC we're not being demanding, what this person did unbelievably wrong - and all of us were strongly within our rights to take legal action. i'm glad they admit their mistakes, but what they did took readership and credit away from OUR work. it happens a lot more than you think and it's frustrating and upsetting when we state we DO NOT ALLOW these reposts and yet, over and over again, we find them.
@Coffee_eeffoC it's fine I honestly deserve it and it is their works so they have all the right. they could have done alot worse.
I am very sorry if I have offended any ao3 writers I try and give you as much credit as I can I will be taking down my books I am sorry for the inconveniences this may have caused.
@cherryGT13 it doesn't matter if credit was given or not - none of us gave permission for our fics to be posted anywhere else by anyone else. it's wrong, simple as, and even if harm isn't intended, reposting takes readership, comments, and a certain amount of credit away from the original writers. we put our heart and soul into creating these fics for free, only for other people to copy and paste it elsewhere without our knowledge and consent. not only is this illegal, it's upsetting and it's disrespectful. i'm very happy @jiminn_sfw has listened to us and understands the mistakes they made. that's the best i can ask for from this situation - but no one has the right to tell us, the actual writers, what is or what isn't a "big deal".
@cherryGT13 I am one of the writers, and you have no right to tell me what I want to be done with my own work. As @jiminn_sfw correctly compared it to illegal movie repost - you simply don't repost anything that someone else has created PERIOD. (If you want to rec you can share a link and a sentence what it's about plus tw)
@cherryGT13 i understand where you are coming from but it's like when. a person records a movie from a theater and puts it up on their own website they can lable it as the person who made it but it's still illegal. I should have gotten their permission first I'm sorry.
