@jimmybuffet, I just really loved loved loved both of your works. And I seriously can't move on. I noticed that both Lina and Ellie have strong passions for reading, and there are multiple references to different novels in both Give Her Love, and Fundamentals of Love. Do you mind sharing some recs with me?

            - my brilliant friend by elena ferrante
            - paper palace by miranda cowley heller
            - anne of green gables by l.m montomery 
            - pachinko by min jin lee
            - east of eden by john steinbeck
            this one i think would be her favourite book: a tree grows in brooklyn by betty smith 
            
            ellie would be reading:
            - i remember nothing by nora pehron
            - the compound by aisling rawle (she loves reality tv and dystopia)
            - winner's curse by marie rutkoswki
            - conversations with friend by sally rooney
            - bloodlines by richelle mead
            i think her favourite book would be: on the jellicoe road by melina marchetta

I have a very unhealthy attachment to “fundamentals of love”, the first time i read it I was going through a hard time and IT TRULY CHANGED ME AS A PERSON. It has set my standards SO high (which is great) and made me reflect so much on my own life. It is my Soul Food and the authors taste in music is incredible!!!

          I recently read 'Fundamentals of love' and this was so much better than I could've Imagined 
          Everything from the titles of the chapters, characters and the writing it was IMMACULATE 
          
          Like absolute perfection, James and Eille are going to be my soul food forever 
          
          You're an incredible writer and I just wanted to say that I really appreciate your work <33
          
          So yeah Thankyou so so much for this !!
          
          PS: I think they both would love The tortured poets department !!

@Iforgotthtiexisted the alchemy would've been on repeat while writing if it had been out a few years before. i think they would've loved prophecy, bolter, and fresh out the slammer (in their 20s)
