I'm so happy to hear that Han had such an impact on you. The purpose of the book was to make foreigners more aware of the Sewol tragedy but also to make people realize that a tragedy regardless of it's name and origin is very hurtful and painful for its victims regardless of where it took place. De-humanization of different groups of people is too common in today's world when it shouldn't be. Regardless of race, culture, religion, let us all pay respect to the loss of human lives everywhere around the world.
