My elder sister is exactly the same way! In fact, she is the sole reason I even know about BTS and more importantly, Jikook.
It all started because she was being incredibly secretive. Whenever I tried to catch a glimpse of her phone screen, she would immediately shush me away and declare, "This is not for children!" Naturally, that only fueled my curiosity.
until one night, while she was fast asleep, I grabbed her hand, used her fingerprint to unlock her phone, and headed straight for that mysterious app: Wattpad.
That night, girl I srsly pulled an all-nighter and devoured two whole Jikook books. I was so into it that I downloaded the app on my own phone first thing the next day, and started my secret life as a Jikook reader.
But my secret unfortunately didn't last forever. December, she caught me red-handed!(ಥ _ ಥ). She yelled at me and lectured me about how I shouldn't be reading BL... when I literally learned it from her! (T~T) She ruthlessly deleted Wattpad from my phone and kept an eye on me throughout xmas.
To make matters worse, right before she deleted the app, I was still in the middle of reading StillWithYouJikook stories. By the time I finally managed to recover my account, the author had deleted all her works(ಥ _ ಥ)
and that was how my new yr turned absolutely sorrowful because I never got to finish those stories, and I don't even know if I ever will. (T~T)
