MORGAN CHRISTOPHER has done everything from serving tables at upscale Italian restaurants to stand-up comedy until he became a writer in the early 1990's. Since then he's written for The New Yorker, Film Comment, The Village Voice under a pseudonym. He left New York City in 2002 and became a freelance editorial consultant to a major newspaper. Before Lampshade he wrote of Behind the Hidden Mask: The Art and Life of Hollywood's Forgotten Clown, which is due to be released in 2015. He now lives in Scranton, Pennsylvania, with his two Golden Retrievers Ginger & Maximilian and is unmarried with no children.
