And I love your stance on reading new writers - we definitely need help. It's something I hope to do as well, to follow the undiscovered stories rather than the popular ones. But I've yet to find one I like.

Really? Then they don't understand the value of great beta readers. I thought I'll take forever to find an honest beta reader so I was ecstatic when I saw your comment. ;) And yes, please post your story one day - I'm sure it'll be great.
