Hey my lovely readers I just wanted to share a quick update. A new chapter is coming but it’ll be a little later this week. It’s been a tough one over here. My cat Pippin passed a week ago and I’m still finding my footing with it. It’s one of those losses that quietly rearranges your days and I want to give the story the care and presence it deserves. Thank you for your patience and for being here. It really does mean more than you know. See you soon with the next chapter.

I know I'm late on this (was sick whole month and got covid), but I'm so sorry you lost Pippin. It took me months to feel better so take your time. I could tell by all the author's notes each chapter how special he was to you. Sounds like he was quite the assistant too!

Chapter 23 is out! As the path home finally reveals itself, Finn is forced to face a choice he cannot outrun...and not everyone will make it to the other side.
Sorry this one took me a bit to get out. I’ve been on a bit of a holiday and enjoying the warm weather we’ve been having in London.
I even took Pippin out on a leash for a walk with all the magnolia in bloom which, for an indoor cat, mostly meant he sniffed everything for a minute and then sat down and refused to go any further.
