J. Michael Cole (寇謐將) is a Taipei-based writer, author of several books of non-fiction about politics and security issues in Asia. I have a Master's Degree in War Studies from the Royal Military College of Canada and a Bachelor of Arts in English Literature. My first love has always been fiction, and after publishing eight books of non-fiction and thousands of articles, I intend to focus more on the craft of fiction, with most of my stories using Taiwan as a setting.
