I've decided to enter Cluttered and Whispertown (since it has been re-written and edited again) into the Watty Awards. Please give them a like if you enjoyed them. I will be posting new chapters shortly!

Hey, guys. I hope some of you are still with me.

First, let me apologize for the lack of activity. My journey to publishing has been rocky but I'm still actively querying a few things. I've also still re-writing Creeper into a full-length novel.

I miss readers, though. I miss each and every reader who has taken the time to read, comment on, and critique my work. So much. So I'm coming back. My plate is pretty full right now with married life, a full-time career, writing, and querying but I have decided to re-post some favorites and a few new works I don't plan on publishing anytime soon.

Here is what I plan on posting:

Whispertown -- YA Spiritual/Contemporary. Was the runner-up in the Spiritual category of the Watty Awards several years back. 17-year-old Cassie makes the decision to flee her small, southern hometown when she discovers she is pregnant because of the local pastor's son.

Whispers of the Heart -- YA Spirtiual/Contemporary. The sequel to Whispertown.

Cluttered -- YA Contemporary. The story of a teenage girl who has to live with a hoarder and the toll it takes on not only her, but also her younger siblings.

Karen's Not Home --  YA Horror, unfinished. A story about a girl named Melanie who spends the summer with relatives while her mother is in rehab. Her cousin, Karen, mysteriously disappeared a few years ago and the family is still dealing with it. When spooky things start occurring, Melanie begins a journey to discovering what really happened to her cousin.

I am currently too swamped to swap/read for read at this moment. I'm still looking for beta readers for my Creeper novel or horror books if you are interested.

If you're still here, let me know what you'd like me to post first!

Looking for beta readers to read my YA Horror novel, Evil in the Walls. A beta reader will help me check grammar, content, plot holes, character development, and anything else that needs fixing in the story or writing. I cannot swap at this time but I can swap at a later date if you need something read in return.

Synopsis: After Annie’s grandmother dies, her family moves into her hotel during the summer in an attempt to save it. Due to a few murders that occurred in the past, the hotel has gotten a bad reputation over the years. Upon moving in, Annie and others begin to notice that strange things keep happening.

Annie and her new friend, Charlie, begin to unravel the mystery within her grandmother’s journal but as more of the guests and staff begin to die, the evil inside the hotel becomes stronger. When Annie is forced to see what is real and what isn’t, she may have to sacrifice something dear to save her family.

Please share with any Horror fans you know who may be willing to help. Thank you!

Hey guys! If you're a fan of Creeper and/or You Know You Love Me, read on!

I am currently in the process of turning Creeper and You Know You Love Me into a full length novel! It will consist of three parts--Creep (originally Creeper), You Know You Love Me, and Forgive Me My Sins (conclusion story I originally planned to name Recovery).

The first part has just been finished. I am hoping to have the novel completed by the end of the year. I plan on querying it for a few months after it is completely edited and if nothing happens with that, then I will look into self-publishing.

I am currently looking for beta readers. Your job will be to read the unpublished draft and help me improve the story. This will involve double-checking my grammar and spelling, whether there are any holes in my plots and other details, if the characters need more development, believability, and anything else lacking.

If you would like to apply, please send me a message. You do not have to have experience but I am looking for more feedback than "It's great, don't change a thing!" Because while praise is wonderful, I am dead serious about Creeper becoming published. I want it to be as good as it can possibly get because it and you readers deserve it.

Those who are approved will have their name(s) in the acknowledgements, opportunities to read other books in the future, and be entered into giveaways once the book is published.

Message for more details. If you have any examples of your critique style, please send that as well.

@DoorHanger Thank you. The deadline is pretty flexible. I still have to complete the other two parts so it might take some time. I think as long as it's before the end of the year, I'll be good. I appreciate your help.

@jncahill Hey, Here is my email: mymons@hotmail.co.uk. I found this because (although I don't use Wattpad often anymore) I used to enjoy your work and follow you and so I was notified about your message. Also, is there a deadline or a certain time that you need your feedback in by ?? Thanks for taking up my help, I won't let you down.

@DoorHanger Sorry for the late response. It's been a crazy week. I have not heard of Red Leaves but I just looked it up on Amazon and Goodreads and it seems interesting. Right now I just have the first part done but I figure that will be a good place to start and if either/both of us just isn't feeling it, then you don't have to continue with the next two parts. I don't want anyone to hate it and feel obligated. If you could shoot me your e-mail, I'd be glad to send you the first part. I don't expect to get to Part 2 until next month as I'm doing a re-write this month for Camp NaNo so take your time. And if you get into it and decide it's not going to be something you enjoy looking at, just let me know. Also, curious, but how did you hear about this? Just wondering. Thank you for your offer and hope to talk again soon.

I miss Wattpad! Thinking I might start posting some short stories here in 2016. Still trying to get published traditionally. I have decided to merge Creeper, You Know You Love Me, and the conclusion into a full-length novel instead of a collection. Will keep you updated on where I am with it.
