psa: lots of writers on this app tend to write a character that is lgbtq but (and this is just my shitty feedback) I feel like some writers need to be aware of where and when their stories take place. for example if the story takes place in the past or present it can be alarming to other characters that they are lgbtq, whereas if the story takes place in the future, being lgbtq might be much more normalized. in addition, stories that take place in america will be more accepting compared to stories in asia. However, with this being said, the characters in the story may have been aware that another character is lgbtq, but the audience does not. an example of this might be in a story were a male character says they have a crush on another character, but the narrator just skims by that. from my pov, it looks more "realistic" when a character takes note of another characters sexuality. also, having a character discover their sexuality is juicy but having them deny it multiple times before coming to terms is the shittt.
          	_____
          	example:
"oh my god he is just the hottest person ive ever seen" billy said, practically salivating.
I had known billy was gay for a couple years but I still find it awkward when he mentions another guy being... attractive.
          	_____
I know nobody is reading this but if u are please dont hate, its just me being a judgemental bitch
