I have an idea for a future chapter in which we get feral, protective, worried and emotional Jack all in one. Andy gets attacked (maybe beaten or something) by a patient and gets found by Esme. Jack hears the code hula hoop and runs to find a bloody, unconscious Andy getting CPR done on her while the patient who beat her is tied to the bed cause he wasn’t aware of what he was doing. They get her to a trauma room and do a bunch of things on her to try and get her stable while Jack is trying to help and gets basically dragged out of the room by Robby and they sit outside watching (or on the roof or something) and when they get her stable they take her to surgery or the ICU and she’s unconscious on a vent for awhile but then wakes up and is beaten but fine and then we get to see Jack taking care of her. You obviously put your spin on it and whatnot, cause your writing is amazing. That specific situation has just in my head for this book eventually!
