          I doubt you’ll see this, but Imma try anyways haha. So, I remember reading No Capes in High School. To be completely honest, it got me through some dark times.
          
          When it was taken down (understandably so), I was heartbroken as it was something I grew attached to.
          
          Obviously, the second I heard news of it being published, I sent a photo of it to my family group chat and was like ‘If you wanna get me anything for my birthday, let it be this.’
          
          It took some time, but my brother finally found it (he purchased it and lost it in his house; such a silly goose). I just finished it today (read the first few pages a couple days ago, life happened, picked it back up today and, lo and behold, I finished it in roughly one day).
          
          I’m PRAYING that there’s a sequel. You built the world so freaking well and I know we aren’t done with D.S. or The Torrent (or even Golden Ace (who I still remember as Hyperion Gold)) yet. I can’t wait to see what you do with it (and I’ll probably finish that in a day as well).
          
          Thank you for bringing back No Capes and congratulations on publishing it.

I’m so happy to see No capes published  I was here when there when the first chapter was posted and I waited desperately for updates. I’m really upset I’d have loved a signed copy but I’m from England and it’s only available in the US. I’m going to buy it anyway because I’m so happy. Congratulations

          If you were here reading NO CAPES back in our early days... THANK YOU!!! We would not be here without your amazing comments, SUPER chaos, and so so many theories. 
          
          Many things have gone down since NO CAPES was finished in 2015:
          
          1. A global pandemic.
          2. Three U.S. elections.
          3. I finished grad school.
          4. I got married.
          5. TikTok happened.
          6. Taylor Swift released ten albums. TEN.
          7. We all lost people and found new ones.
          8. STAR WARS got another trilogy.
          9. NO CAPES was optioned for a television show (and even got a script).
          10. THE BRO CODE was published.
          11. NO CAPES got stuck in development hell.
          12. I adopted two silly cats.
          
          We survived existential crises, extreme weather, and more Marvel movies than I can count. Some dreams got shelved. Other dreams turned into fuel.
          
          In the middle of all that, y'all kept asking about NO CAPES. You helped me see what NO CAPES could be and how I could be a "real" writer. And now, after nearly a decade, NO CAPES is real too. We're here. And we've got series potential! (Be sure to send me your wildest sequel wishes!!)
          
          I've put the first three chapters of the published version here on Wattpad since it's the first place NO CAPES could call home. The rest of NO CAPES is available in ebook and print, internationally:
