I have a few questions about “let’s be friends”? 
          
          
           I know angels dont get hungry, dont have the need for sleep and can’t feel cold, but what things can affect them, like can y/n get sick ? Can he get a tummy ache,a fever? Can he get extremely sleepy or extremely hyper ? 
          
          Next question I know sins are kind  of a loose concept since they’ve kinda lost meaning with  the pass of time, but would dipping into these kinds of strong emotions affect our angel in any way, like as an angel I mean on like a mystical level , or would his other half cancel them out ? 
          
          Or would they just feel really guilty? like y/n would be sickened by the idea of ever being a sloth or feeling envy or greed 
          
          
          I know That this probably is really random but I just love this book so much T-T I wanna know more without spoiling what you have planned for us readers in the future

I always consider publishing special chapters for holidays but I'm never sure about it. I started Let's be Friends short of two years ago, so I feel like starting now would be a bit pointless.

The most difficult part of writing a Death Note self insert fanfiction, is finding a reason for why the reader would even be part of the story. Death Note is such a well put together story, with every detail accounted for, that adding anything through a fanfiction feels like you're degrading the story. I have found that not a single Death Note fanfiction has been a satisfactory read.
          
          I have deemed Death Note to be one of the most difficult animes to be made into a fanfiction, because one must either make major changes to the original story (something I dread in fanfiction) or they must give the reader plot armor (which isn't inherently bad, but not ideal for the reader). Very few Death Note fanfictions have peeked my interest, but even then, all of them are incomplete.

A fun fact about "Let's be Friends"! 
          
          Originally, it was going to be called "Ten Thousand Doves", and instead of (Y/n) being an angel, they were going to be a human that was experimented on. He was going to have huge wings sewn into his back, made out of the feathers of ten thousand dead doves. His guardian was going to be a religious serial killer. It was planned for the guardian to have experimented on (Y/n) to try and make a real angel. He believed (Y/n) would be able to pardon him of his sins and allow him into Heaven after death. Ciel and Sebastian would have found (Y/n) after killing the guardian. However, upon realizing that his guardian was dead, (Y/n), now insane and convinced he was his guardian's guardian angel, would have tried to kill both Ciel and Sebastian. Ciel and Sebastian were going to take him back to the manor after cutting his wings off.
          
          It was also too morbid, and I realized that I preferred (Y/n) being a sweet little angel instead. That is how we ended with the wholesome "Let's be Friends" instead! (⁠´⁠ε⁠｀⁠ ⁠)
