I have been writing for about nine years. I self-published my first two novels, Circumstellar and Heliocentric, through CreateSpace Independent Publishing Platform under the pseudonym J. W. Lolite. Both books have won numerous awards and accolades in young adult, fantasy, science fiction, and action/adventure categories from book competitions including: an honorable mention from the Readers' Favorite International Book Competition, two first place wins from the Reader Views Literary Awards, two silver awards from Dan Poynter's Global Ebook Awards, and two silver awards from the Colorado Independent Publishers Association EVVY Awards. In my other career, I perform PET/CT scans on cancer patients, which involves injecting people with radiation, but I've yet to create the next Doctor Manhattan. I also have a five-year-old daughter in case I get bored.
